H.S. DAY

Growing up on the water I've always been highly influenced by the ocean and the communities that grow around it. I create work in efforts to draw attention to nature as a necessity for life in the modern age, and the need for sedimental value when viewing Earth. I paint from my own internal truths as well as external experiences to make spaces that exist somewhere in between landscape and mindscape. By use of poetics I allow the viewer to sit with the pieces and find personal contemplation as well as a space of meditation or healing.
